Exhibition contribution landscape: retrospect-view-insight - LGS Neuenburg am Rhein
- Anzeige Text im Grid: Nein
Urban greenery is a location factor that shapes the image and image of a city. Numerous municipalities have recognized this since the first state garden show in 1980 in Ulm/Neu-Ulm. Since then, more than 800 hectares of open spaces have been upgraded or newly created, with landscape architects playing a major role in their design.
The challenges have changed, of course!
The LGS Neuenburg am Rhein shows how landscape and open space can be developed and used to meet future, ecological, climatic, economic, social, functional and design challenges.
Landscape: Review-Outlook-Insight
Landscape architects plan state garden shows!
The exhibition contribution of the bdla Landesverband Baden-Württemberg e.V. with geskes.hack landschaftsarchitekten GmbH, Berlin, informs at three locations in the area of the Landesgartenschau with three Follies, small architectural ornamental buildings with views to prominent places at the "Klemmbach", in the "Stadtpark am Wuhrloch" and at the "Rheinterrasse" about the occupational field of landscape architects and shows at the chosen project locations exemplarily the working method of landscape architecture.
In each case, the follies provide information from the planning work to the implementation of the construction measure to the completion of the special site. In parallel, the individual planning steps are explained. The outlook from the Follies makes possible in each case the view of the result of the planning in the context of the national horticultural show new castle on the Rhine 2022.
