The five-part seminar series, which will be continued every six months, is aimed at professionally experienced landscape architects. However, due to the discussion of fundamental issues, it is also suitable for those just starting their careers. Attendance of the other parts is not a prerequisite for participation.

The aim of the event is to give seminar participants an in-depth insight into the typical issues of invoice and supplementary audit in the VOB/B contract between client and contractor. Thereby the innovations after the building law reform are included.

Landscape architects bear a high level of responsibility when auditing invoices and supplementary claims from contractors. Examples are used to discuss basic principles and problem cases with regard to invoicing, supplements and payment from a professional and legal perspective. These are, for example, the scope of the obligation to audit invoices, requirements for the auditability of invoices, due date and delay in partial and final payment, verification of a payment claim, billing in the unit price contract, hourly wage settlements, deductions, discounts, retentions, retention, additional payment due to quantity changes of additional or changed services.
