The challenges for local authorities and their political decision-makers in preserving the Bavarian landscape are numerous and more diverse than ever:
Continuing land consumption, species loss, climate adaptation and the energy transition are difficult to reconcile. Innovative planning approaches are needed to record, evaluate and weigh up the various usage requirements. What can the landscape plan contribute to this and where do we need to rethink?
