Settlement areas - including company premises - are often heavily sealed and have no ecological value. However, the extensive outdoor areas of companies and business parks in particular offer the opportunity to gain new areas for natural climate protection. This can be achieved through unsealing, renaturation and the creation of near-natural biotopes. Decentralized precipitation management and the efficient use of water on company premises can also help to achieve positive effects for people, nature and the climate.

In our seminar series, experts offer an insight into how to proceed when planning near-natural company premises and what measures are possible. Various examples will be used to show how these approaches can be implemented in practice. The KfW will present the current suitable funding option for companies in the Natural Climate Protection Action Program, the "KfW Environmental Program".
