First prize in the competition for the German Landscape Architecture Award 2017 goes to the Rheinboulevard project in Cologne-Deutz, designed by Maik Böhmer, Planorama Landschaftsarchitektur, Berlin.

The decisions were made by the eleven-member jury, chaired by Ursula Hochrein, landscape architect bdla, lohrer.hochrein, Munich, at its meeting on 28 April 2017 in the German Architecture Centre in Berlin.
