Climate change has increasingly reached us in Bavaria in recent years.

The number of extreme weather events is increasing from year to year. Short and heavy rainfall events, so-called urban flash floods, often cause high property damage and, in the worst case, tragic accidents.

To minimize the impact of such events, sustainable infrastructure is critical. Rainwater management is therefore becoming an increasingly important task for municipalities. Due to its retention capacity, green roofs will play a key role in the future.
Within the framework of the Bavarian garden shows, the Bavarian Garden, Landscape and Sports Ground Construction Association, the Bavarian Industrial Association for Building Materials, Stones and Soil (BIV), the Concrete Construction Section and the Bavarian Association of the Building Materials, Stones and Soil Industry will be providing information. (BIV) Fachgruppe Betonbauteile and the InformtionsZentrum Beton have been informing experts and interested parties about specialist topics relating to garden and landscape construction for many years.
Afterwards, the organizers invite you to a guided tour of the garden show "Nature in Pfaffenhofen a. d. Ilm".
