BR theme day: The future of our cities

More than half of the world's population now lives in cities - by 2030 it could be almost two-thirds.
Most major Bavarian cities are also growing much faster than predicted. In Munich alone, there could be 400,000 more inhabitants in 20 years than today.
A BR theme day on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 will address the topics of traffic gridlock and housing shortages, among others, and will seek answers to these problems and visions for the future of Bavaria - on television, radio and online on BR24, the news platform of Bayerischer Rundfunk, at br.de/thementag-stadt and with the hashtag #stadtvision.
