A new spatial concept for Bavaria is overdue! Urgent future issues such as affordable housing and compact settlement development, vibrant centres and sustainable mobility, climate change and energy transition as well as open space protection are on the table. Regions, cities and municipalities cannot cope with this within their borders alone. They need a reliable framework and more support from an overall, strategic state planning!
