For many years, Markus Schäf has been organizing tours of extraordinary landscape architecture projects in Munich for bdla bayern. This summer, two site visits are scheduled, to which bdla bayern invites all interested parties.

The heart and "green centre" of the Hochäckerstrasse development area in Munich Perlach is the public green space with a size of approx. 28,500 m², which runs through the entire length of the development area in the form of staggered neighbourhood parks. The former use of the area as a vegetable cultivation area with a strip-shaped field structure shapes both the overall spatial concept and the differentiated design of the six sub-parks. Linear structures serve to create space and as design leitmotifs that link the sub-parks with each other and create clear transitions to the adjacent residential buildings. Further information

On June 5, 2019, we will go to the Public Neighborhood Park with play facilities on the site of the former Funkkaserne in the north of Munich. A new residential area has been created on the former barracks site. Its central area will become a public "forest park" with its old trees and wildly grown up wooded islands, with generous perspectives, wide promenades and diverse play facilities.
