After Corona: Now act even more consciously, with foresight and courage in climate, species and land protection!

On 25 June, a broad alliance sent an appeal in the form of an open letter to the President of the Bavarian State Parliament, Ms Ilse Aigner, the Bavarian Minister President, Dr Markus Söder, and the Deputy Minister President and Bavarian State Minister for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, Mr Hubert Aiwanger.

The alliance of scientific academies, planners' associations, church groups, chambers, professional associations and environmental organizations calls for a new social contract for Europe, Germany and in Bavaria: civil society, science, business and politics should come together at all political levels and look for appropriate solutions. This requires new forms of participation and negotiation under the leadership and moderation of democratically legitimized politics - a new "Round Table for a Transformative Development of the Land" modeled on the implementation of the Species Protection Referendum.
