The aim of the digital conference, which is being offered again due to the high level of interest, is to comprehensively discuss the use of green infrastructure together with blue and grey infrastructure as an important and effective component of urban climate adaptation. In this context, climate-related planning tools, findings from research projects will be presented and municipal climate adaptation strategies and measures will be discussed in a practical manner.

The focus is on the following aspects:

  • Climate-related planning instruments and possibilities of determination in urban land use planning
  • Regulatory services, qualification and multicoding of green and open spaces
  • Strategies, measures and management of communal climate adaptation
  • Climate adaptation of high-density existing neighbourhoods
  • Climate-resilient new quarters - application of the sponge city principle

The symposium is aimed at experts and managers from public administrations, freelance planners, landscape architects, architects and other interested experts from the fields of green and open space development and urban planning.
