We, Münchner Gesellschaft für Stadterneuerung mbH (MGS), are a wholly owned subsidiary of the City of Munich (LHM). As a trustee and redevelopment agency, we contribute to sustainable urban development with our projects.
We work on diverse, varied and implementation-oriented projects in formally defined redevelopment areas of the LHM. In addition, MGS supports LHM in the implementation of climate-neutral and climate-resilient neighborhoods.
To strengthen our interdisciplinary teams, we are therefore looking for a new colleague for a limited period of 2 years at the earliest possible date.
The position is available part-time and full-time.
Your tasks
- You will manage open space planning projects with interdisciplinary issues to implement the redevelopment objectives in formally defined redevelopment areas.
This includes
- the development of initial sketches and ideas, including brainstorming within the team,
- project and strategy development,
- the preparation, planning, implementation and management of the measures,
- the coordination and preparation of financing plans and funding applications,
- carrying out tendering procedures and commissioning external planning offices and
- the overall coordination of all parties involved, reporting to committees
- You will support public relations work, participate in public participation and provide technical assistance with campaigns and projects in public spaces in the redevelopment areas.
- They support the development of integrated action programs (e.g. as part of preparatory studies in accordance with §141BauGB or as part of energy district concepts), especially in the fields of open space planning and climate adaptation.
- They acquire and advise private property owners on the implementation of renovation measures under municipal funding programs (preparation, technical support during the planning and implementation phase and billing of the funding measures).
- You will work on open space issues in an interdisciplinary team in close cooperation with the planning department on urban development of properties or pathways.
Your profile
- You have a degree in landscape architecture, landscape planning, urban planning or a comparable qualification.
- You have already gained professional experience in project management in the field of object planning or open space planning.
- You have in-depth knowledge in the field of mobility (especially local mobility is desirable).
- You have strong interpersonal skills and very good communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
- You are characterized by a structured, careful and committed way of working and the ability to make decisions.
- With regard to owner consultations and communication with third parties, you have a very good command of written and spoken German.
- Ideally, you will have experience with CAD software and common Adobe applications (Photoshop and InDesign).
- Sound knowledge of common MS Office applications rounds off your profile.
