The bdla Bayern has been involved for years in the Ways to a Better LEP initiative and fully supports the Open Appeal for a Sustainable Bavaria.
The Munich-based landscape architect Barbara Weihs, who represents bdla Bayern in the initiative and has been tirelessly committed to the topic for years, is an active member of the professional association.

- June 2023: The Bavarian Council of Ministers has finally adopted the partial update of the Bavarian State Development Program (LEP) after evaluating the participation procedure. The Bavarian State Parliament has approved the LEP partial update. The LEP partial update was published in the Bavarian Law and Ordinance Gazette (GVBl.) on 31.05.2023 and came into force after publication on 01.06.2023.
