The urban spaces are the fields of action of free and diverse social life. Opportunities for "reclamation" through a mobility turnaround are juxtaposed with restrictions due to, among other things, commercial appropriations and, increasingly, the effects of climate change with periods of drought, heavy rainfall and flooding, which endanger their preservation.

How can public space retain and, if possible, expand its predominant position in urban life? What are the tasks of public building/redesign with regard to climate protection, sustainability and safety? Can the residents' own initiative both open up new creative spaces and promote responsibility and a sense of community in the long term?
