At the beginning of June, bdla members from the regional associations of Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Lower Saxony Bremen were able to see for themselves that Lüneburg is not only worth a visit for those interested in history and fans of red roses, but also for landscape architects.

Once again this year, the "ressource.architektur" stand, which was designed and implemented by students from the participating universities, will be realized together with the AKNDS, Leibnitz University Hanover, Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts, the Building Culture Network in Lower Saxony and all planning professional associations.
The stand at the trade fair for real estate, project and urban development will be used for keynote speeches, discussion rounds and video installations, allowing all participants to communicate on this year's theme of 'Reflection' in an attractive environment.

In 2024, the bdla Lower Saxony Bremen invites the northern associations to a northern lights summer party in Lüneburg on June 7, 2024.

This year, the bdla jury honored three final theses from both Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and Leibniz University Hanover. Prize money of €500 is associated with 1st place and €300 with 2nd place. Recognition will also be awarded. All winners will be offered a free junior membership of the bdla for one year, with exclusive information, services and benefits from the association.

With the StudyUp Award, the bdla Niedersachsen Bremen once again honors outstanding final theses in landscape architecture in order to promote creative young talent. The aim is to recognize theses that deal with current fields of activity for landscape architects, that demonstrate integrative and innovative concepts and approaches in urban development or landscape planning, that develop trend-setting design solutions or that deal with the core competence "plant". Application-oriented solutions or new scientific methods are of particular interest.
