Rejection and controversy regarding urban development concepts and projects are common and completely normal - assessments and interests often differ. However, it seems crucial to us that the end result is not conflict, but a pacifying "understanding". This is the only way to find good, forward-looking solutions!

The aim of this series of events is to promote this understanding among all those involved and thus also to help combat divisive social attitudes and increasing mistrust. Various - current and future - urban development tasks/planning projects in Oldenburg, including the city center, public space, mobility change and neighbourhood planning, are intended to provide examples for consideration.
