Verden pedestrian zone as an example of inclusive planning

On 24.01.2017, the second regional conference of the Chamber of Architects of Lower Saxony on the topic of "Designing inclusively - good ideas and good examples from architecture and urban planning took place in Hanover.
Good examples from landscape architecture were the redesigned pedestrian zone in Verden (Latz und Partner Landschaftsarchitekten, Kransberg) and from architecture the new inclusive residential complex "Wohnen am Thie" at Konsberg in Hanover (keller schleich wunderlich architekten stadtplaner, Hanover).
The event was organised by the Federal Government Commissioner for the Interests of People with Disabilities, the Federal Chamber of Architects and the Chambers of Architects from Lower Saxony, Bremen, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.
