On 25 September 2017, the Act on the Reorganisation of the Professional Law for Engineers and the Amendment of the Lower Saxony Building Code was passed.

The design author regulation for landscape architects has now found its way into it after all.

§ 53 para.4 1. now reads:

A person who is entitled to submit building plans for a building measure requiring approval is also a person who.

1. is entitled to use the professional title "landscape architect" if the building measure is connected with the professional task of the landscape architect.

Thus, the more than two years of participation in the amendment of the NBauO was very successful on this point. For the next amendment, which is already being considered, the AKNds has already requested our participation, which the board has assured.
