The Bundesverband GebäudeGrün e. V. (BuGG) is presenting the topic of green roofs in six cities as part of its "Green Roof Forum 2018" seminar series.

On 28.11.2018, the Green Roof Forum will take place in Braunschweig.

The half-day seminars are held in cooperation with the respective cities and address the role of green roofs in cities, how they are promoted and established, what tasks they take on in stormwater management, etc.

Lectures on general planning principles for professional green roofs and roof sealing and on special topics such as biodiversity, solar green roofs, heat and flood protection complete the comprehensive programme.

The BuGG Green Roof Forums are supported and enhanced by practical specialist presentations from well-known associations and companies in the sector such as Bauder, FDT, Optigrün, Triflex and Zinco.

As a special feature of the event in Braunschweig, the landscape architect bdla Andreas Ackermann will lead a tour of the greened and illuminated roof of the NORD/LB Braunschweig in the evening hours.

The BuGG Green Roof Forum is free of charge for interested planners, city representatives, entrepreneurs and contractors.
