The bdla Lower Saxony Bremen has joined the statement of the Green Bremen Alliance on the draft of a children's play area location law.

In it, the submission of a Children's Play Area Local Law and the associated intention to further develop the legal requirements for children's play areas close to home as a component of the play area promotion concept is welcomed.

In addition to the individual requests for improvement, the planned amendments to §2 (1) KSpOG in particular are considered to be incompatible with the aims and guiding principles of the Act. In §2(1), the prescribed minimum size of play areas is to be considerably reduced in comparison to the previously valid regulation. There is a clear need for improvement here.
