The bdla nw would like to welcome you, your friends, families and colleagues to the SommerTreff. Under the motto of the State Horticultural Show "Flower splendour and forest idyll" we will explore the two parks of the LGS together.

Our colleagues Ina Bimberg and Judith Dohmen-Mick will explain the design idea and the concept of the planting in the Kaiser-Karls-Park and the Waldpark (winner of the competition at that time was the office Sinai from Berlin). The main focus of the competition brief was the inclusion of the forest in the overall concept. The central motif of the winning design was the theme "forest and clearing". The spa park and the forest park are clearly separated from the forest by a clearing ("Waldfuge") and in this way their value is emphasized. The topographically striking figure of a dune to be found here is thus exposed again and can be experienced.
Martin Gasse from Bad Lippspringe introduces us to the GlaubensGarten, the contribution of the nature park and the planning for the InfoTreff of the landscape gardeners. There we will also visit the award-winning young gardener's garden "Die blaue Lichtung".
Elmar Pröbsting (Büro Heuschneider from Rheda-Wiedenbrück) will guide us through the Arminius Park.
