For the tenth time, the North Rhine-Westphalia regional group of the Association of German Landscape Architects is awarding the nrw.landscapearchitecture.prize. From 32 submitted works, the jury chaired by Prof. Hans-Peter Rohler unanimously awarded prizes to seven entries that address future issues and create innovative and impressive landscape experiences. By opening up the award to projects of a conceptual nature, bdla nw is demonstrating for the first time what the profession is capable of achieving beyond classical object planning in monument and landscape protection, in matters of climate adaptation and ecological revitalization.
bdla nw and Baukultur Nordrhein-Westfalen present the award winners and submitted projects in a brochure and invite discussions on the significance of "green infrastucture".
