The "Round Table" initiated by bdla nw at the Höxter State Horticultural Show is well received by visitors to the extensive parks. Members of the bdla have the opportunity here to draw attention to the profession and to talk about the important future tasks of landscape architecture.
"We had a successful day at the round table and got into conversation with numerous guests. In their relatives, all grandchildren are now informed about our exciting profession with Pixi books! Families with older children also stopped by, using the nature polygame to find topics quickly. The garden show was praised by all! Our profession was not known to many or was questioned with the question "can one live from it?" so Christian Jürgensmann, who was present together with Friedhelm Terfrüchte, board member of the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia, on a day in the middle of July. Even the state government's finance minister, Marcus Optendrenk, stopped by the round table with a delegation. He wanted to get a picture of how the subsidies were being used. Now he also knows the landscape architects and sees "his" money in good hands!
