This is also part of association life: an honorary board that has to stand for election every two years. There have therefore been some changes to the board of the bdla nw regional group since the general meeting in October. Andreas Hermanns stepped down from the board of the regional group after 4 years of voluntary work. Isabella de Medici is the new second chairwoman of the Rhineland.

Treasurer Axel Schütze from Cologne was confirmed in office. Christian Jürgensmann (competition spokesperson) and Walter Hellmann (landscape planning spokesperson) were re-elected as two spokespersons who had already held this position for many years and were now standing for re-election, as Klaus Müller-Pfannenstiel and Burkhard Wegener were not available for re-election for personal reasons. The other specialist spokespersons were confirmed in their posts.
The bdla nw would like to thank all departing board members and spokespersons for their commitment and tireless efforts and wishes the new members assertiveness and success for the common concerns of the profession.
One of the association's rules is that statutes have to be revised at certain times. This has now also been the case in the North Rhine-Westphalia regional group. Among other things, the new statutes take into account the name change to Bund deutscher Landschaftsarchitekt:innen (Association of German Landscape Architects) and the possibility of a virtual general meeting. The amendment to the statutes was adopted unanimously.
