A [Federal] Garden Show is not a show of flowers!
It is an outlook on the future development of our natural, built and designed environment. And landscape architecture? It designs livable and sustainable open spaces and places in incredibly diverse facets.
Our profession's generalist and/or specific view of the world considers social, ecological and economic conditions, depending on the task at hand - thus forming the primordial soup of all visions. In doing so, we are dependent on the constant input of the latest developments and the interdisciplinary dialogue with experts from all disciplines.
In our series "Today in the Facet Realm..." we combine this expert knowledge with our professional know-how and illuminate current topics of the day in a "melange queerbeet" with illustrious guests from the profession, society and business.
Spiced with a pinch of culture, we invite you to an entertaining view of the future of our environment:

In the "Building Culture Showcase", the Bund Deutscher Landschaftsarchitekten bdla - Landesverband Baden-Württemberg e.V. (Association of German Landscape Architects), together with its cooperation partners Bund Deutscher Architekten (Association of German Architects), BDA Heilbronn-Franken (Association of German Architects Heilbronn-Franconia) and the Architektenkammer Baden-Württemberg (Chamber of Architects Baden-Württemberg), use their exhibitions to communicate building culture topics that affect all areas of life and all sections of the population.

The bdla Baden-Württemberg cordially invites you to this year's summer bicycle excursion in the context of the Remstal Garden Show 2019:
The varied valley and hilly landscape offers endless possibilities with wonderful views to explore the Rems Valley by bike. The Remstal cycle path has been extended and expanded to a total of 106 km. It leads from Weinstadt-Endersbach to the mouth of the Rems to Remseck am Neckar and from there along the Rems to Essingen and on to the Roman town of Aalen. Cyclists are guided by new ground markings consisting of "Remswellen" (Rems waves) and kilometre markings.

Since the opening day of the BUGA Heilbronn 2019 on 17.04.2019, the bdla Baden-Württemberg e.V. has been presenting itself with the show garden "Heilbronn 2.0 - A multifaceted society" and the launch of the online salon "Landscape Architecture Today". For the next 173 days, BUGA visitors can enjoy themselves in the garden and access information on the young talent competition at the two outdoor pads, as well as surf through the bdla work show of the numerous projects of contemporary landscape architecture.
