Save the Date - 20.09.2023 - Sustainable use of soil in an urban context
- Anzeige Text im Grid: Nein
While measures to protect soil are largely regulated in landscape planning and are increasingly being applied, the handling of soil as a resource in the urban context is subject to major challenges within open space planning. From the point of view of sustainability, the storage, processing and reuse of excavated soils should actually take precedence over disposal, assuming a careful use of vacant soil areas. However, sustainable soil management often fails due to the availability of storage areas, despite many efforts on the part of clients and planners.
This is the starting point for the day seminar planned for 20.09.2023 in Hanover, which will present conceptual and substantive approaches as well as solution approaches for the careful use of soil from the perspective of municipalities and districts, planning offices and research.
In addition to the lectures, great importance will be attached to the exchange of experience between all those active in this field. The event will be rounded off by an excursus on the new legal requirements of the Mantelverordnung with regard to their practical application.
