The autumn meeting will once again be a time for collegial exchange and discussion of exciting topics. The focus is on the IGA 2027. Members and guests are cordially invited.

The IGA concept developed by the office partnership Sinai (Berlin), scheuvens wachten (Dortmund) and Imorde (Münster/Berlin) envisages a decentralised major event that can be realised on three levels: Six "gardens of the future" including three horticultural performance shows are to function on the first level as main investment and event locations (hotspots) and make environmentally related core issues concerning gardens, the environment, climate and energy tangible.

On the second level ("Our Garden"), community projects will be implemented and the most beautiful existing parks and gardens in the region will be presented. The many neighbourhood green initiatives by people from the Ruhr area, such as urban gardening projects, will be given a forum on the third level under the heading "My Garden".Horst Fischer, the responsible head of department at the RVR, will give us an overview of the overall planning, investments and implementation of the event.Afterwards, we will hear from Holger Hoffschroer, urban planner and managing director at RHA Reicher Haase Assozierte, among others, about the master plan drawn up by the city of Dortmund and about the workshops held and the players involved.
