Central platform for contemporary landscape architecture with a new design
"Discover contemporary landscape architecture" - this is the invitation of the updated website, which will be online from 30 March 2021. Since 2013, the bdla and its members have been presenting the profession's range of services in projects and topics. Over 100,000 visitors per year make the portal a successful instrument of association communication.

Fritz Erhard, landscape architect bdla in Lenggries, passed away on 6 March 2021.
Every time he called, he answered in the same way: "Hello, it's me, Fritz". That's how he was.
Neatly Bavarian, in his dialect relaxed, but determined. If it got complicated, then closer to High German. But: always in a good mood, witty and good-hearted.

Expert judges selected 35 projects.Thejury will decide on the awarding of the first prize and the awards on 23 April 2021
They have been selected - the 35 nominated projects for the competition for the German Landscape Architecture Award 2021. From 119 entries admitted to the competition, five expert judges made their selection in the virtual voting room between 10 February and 14 March 2021. The nominated works can be viewed at www.deutscher-landschaftsarchitektur-preis.de.

New online documents on various topics on questions of fees developed and published.
With the entry into force of the HOAI 2021 on 1 January 2021, binding minimum and maximum rates for services provided by architects and engineers are history. Although the HOAI remains state law, it now only has an orienting character. In the amendment of 2021, so-called orientation values with fee ranges between the basic fee rate and an upper fee rate are shown. These correspond to the previous minimum and maximum rates.

The Association of German Landscape Architects published the flyer "Quality and Fairness in Planning Competitions" at the end of 2020. Planning competitions play a central role as an awarding instrument and as a tool to ensure planning and thus also construction qualities. They are an important building block of building culture.
