VgV award procedures are a proven means for public authorities to award contracts in the upper threshold range. For these procedures, there are legally regulated requirements that must be adhered to.

bdla members regularly observe violations of these rules. Based on these observations, bdla Bavaria has established a network for fair awarding. Landscape architects are supported by the Bavarian Chamber of Architects with legal advice to bring about improvements in tender documents during award procedures for the planning of open spaces. The network serves as a platform or distribution list so that all registered colleagues can benefit from the observations and commitment of the individual landscape architects.

From the middle of 2023, the Bavarian Chamber of Architects (supported by Interrreg funds from the EU) intends to launch a web platform for Bavarian procedures that will make the evaluation of VgV procedures (with and without RPW competitions) clear and provide transparency for both the bidder and the awarding authority. As soon as the site is online, there will be information about it - here and under "News".
