The green space management team creates green quality of life in Wolfsburg. Your activities:
-general management activity in technical, personnel, financial and organizational matters of the department "green space management"
-Perception of the management and personnel responsibility for approx. 150 employees with the support of four department heads
-supervision and coordination of work orders for green space management / green space maintenance
-supervision of construction measures and technical opinions
-tendering and support of external awards
-coordination and supervision of the procurement of equipment and machinery
-professional further development of green space maintenance in connection with sustainable and climate-adapted management

You bring with you:
-graduate degree in horticulture and landscaping, landscape planning and architecture, green space management, agricultural sciences or with comparable task-oriented focus
-relevant experience in personnel management
-3 years of professional experience in green space management (in case of less professional experience, classification in a lower pay group is possible)
-applicable knowledge of GIS software and about the use and further development of techniques and equipment in green space management
-business management knowledge, high communication and conflict skills for the assumption of management activities in the context of the representation of technical concerns and leadership of employees
-high degree of flexibility, resilience and willingness to take responsibility to represent the city's interests internally and externally, as well as to make short-term decisions in given situations
-German language skills at the level C2 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
