Competition FRISCHGRÜN21 - A bdla exhibition on "Young Landscape Architecture". Competition submission online until 15 March 2021.
The bdla has set itself the goal of giving the young landscape architecture scene a stage in the form of an exhibition: FRISCHGRÜN21 - the Young Landscape Architecture Exhibition at BUGA Erfurt 2021.
Eligible to participate are German landscape architects or landscape architects based in Germany who are under 40 years of age at the time of submitting the application and/or whose registration in an architectural association dates back no longer than ten years. The application must be submitted online by 15 March 2021 and is free of charge.

The Campus Akadmie in Bayreuth will start an 8-day certificate course on land-saving community development in April 2021. The focus of the course, which runs until October 2021 and is held in blocks, is on the question of how this can succeed in concrete terms in the municipalities and deals with the relevant instruments, strategies and communication channels in an implementation-oriented manner.

The general meeting 2021 of the bdla Bavaria will take place on Friday, 19 February, beginning at 15:00. Due to the current situation, the meeting can only be held in digital form this time.
In the master program also in this year the carrier*innen of our bdla Nachwuchspreis will present their work starting from 17:30 o'clock and by us will be distinguished. Afterwards, we are particularly looking forward to the lecture by Prof. em. The success story of the Bavarian State Garden Shows began with the first Bavarian State Garden Show in 1980 in Neu-Ulm. Together with the local authorities, the Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Bayerischen Landesgartenschauen mbH (Society for the Promotion of Bavarian State Garden Shows), founded in 1978, has now been realising all garden shows in Bavaria for forty years. 34 garden shows have been realised since then, creating hundreds of hectares of permanent green and recreational areas in Bavaria.

Open space culture plays an important role in a city of millions. Landscape architect Peter Kluska recognized this early on and helped create some of the city's most important open spaces. In particular, the design of the Westpark, of which Kluska is considered the "father", goes back to his design.
For this and for his contribution to the design of other open spaces, Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter presented Peter Kluska, in the presence of his wife Dr. Edith Kluska-Szügyi, with the silver medal "München leuchtet - Den Freundinnen und Freunden Münchens" on 17 July 2020.
