As part of the restructuring of the administration, the NewOrg 2024 project, this will result in a new organizational structure for our administration. For our newly created Technical Infrastructure department, we are looking for the earliest possible date for a



Head (f/m/d) for the Green Spaces department

(full-time, salary up to EG 13 TVöD, permanent)



Your area of responsibility



- Head of the new green spaces department with the areas of green space management and cemetery management

- Design, planning and construction of public green and leisure facilities, public playgrounds, municipal allotments and sports fields, as well as school and cemetery facilities

- Planning, coordination and processing of landscaping projects

- Participation in the Göppingen 2035 climate-adapted urban development and mobility concept

- Participation in the conception of a garden show

- Coordination of interfaces, primarily with building construction, civil engineering and the depot

- Developing the basis for political decisions in the area of green spaces

- Client function in the supervision of external companies

- Tasks are subject to change due to the current restructuring of the administration



Your profile



- Ideally, you have successfully completed a university degree in landscape architecture, landscape planning or landscape conservation


- You can draw on professional and management experience

- Commitment, creativity and strong negotiating skills are just as natural for you as a customer-oriented working style and assertiveness.

- You work independently, strategically, cooperatively and interdisciplinary and have a high level of social competence. As a manager, you cultivate an appreciative management style that motivates and encourages employees.

- You communicate convincingly with committees and the public.
