At the Office for Landscape Conservation and Green Spaces, we are looking for an engineer or landscape planner or architect (m/f/d) as team leader in the field of green planning and project management with immediate effect.

The City of Cologne's Office for Landscape Conservation and Green Spaces manages an extensive urban green area with numerous parks and around 4,000 hectares of forest land with around 850 employees in various employment groups. In addition, 55 cemeteries are operated in the city of Cologne.



YOUR FUTURE TASKS:

You...

- manage and lead the green planning team and are also responsible for occupational health and safety matters in this area. You will also represent the head of the department

- take on project control and project management of green projects, financial responsibility and public relations

- carry out award procedures and submit applications for funding for the implementation of green projects

- plan projects in accordance with HOAI (work phases 1 to 5)

- prepare statements in response to inquiries from political bodies and citizens

- regularly attend field service appointments



Your active support as a special functionary in the implementation of elections and the motivation of your employees to take on such a function is requested. This concerns a maximum of 3 days per election, which will be rewarded with special leave and an expense allowance.



YOUR PROFILE:

You have a degree (at least a university of applied sciences diploma or bachelor's degree) in landscape architecture, landscape conservation, landscape and open space planning or land development.

The position is permanent.

The position is evaluated according to pay group 12 of the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD).

The salary range in pay group 12 (TVöD-VKA) is between €4,170.32 (experience level 1) and €6,516.74 (experience level 6).
