The District of Dithmarschen is seeking to fill a position in the Department of Construction, Nature Conservation and Regional Development at the earliest possible date as
Engineer or technical clerk (m/f/d) in the Lower Nature Conservation Authority
to be filled. The permanent full-time position is generally divisible and paid at pay group 11 of the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD).
The specialist service for construction, nature conservation and regional development has the task of promoting the economic development of our district with a sense of proportion, also with regard to the expansion of renewable energies, but also to ensure that the interests of nature conservation and species protection are taken into account. The area of responsibility includes the following focal points
- Representing the interests of nature conservation and landscape management as a representative of public interests in urban land-use plans, municipal landscape planning and land consolidation procedures,
- the technical processing of interventions in nature and landscape as well as eco-accounts, including on-site acceptance (including compensation measures),
- Statements on building applications/preliminary building applications and BImSchG procedures,
- Providing nature conservation advice to authorities, municipalities, associations, private individuals and other stakeholders,
- Participation in the maintenance and development of protected areas.
You have
- a degree in engineering (diploma/bachelor's/master's degree) in the field of landscape management/landscape planning/landscape ecology/landscape architecture or environmental planning or a comparable degree
and
- Class B driving license
and
- very good knowledge of written and spoken German (C1).
Desirable are
- sound specialist knowledge of nature conservation law (in particular intervention/compensation regulations, FFH impact assessment, environmental impact assessment according to UVPG and species protection law) as well as basic knowledge of construction planning law, Microsoft Office modules and the use of GIS systems. In-depth knowledge can be acquired as part of further training.
