Job Description

The Office for Rural Development (ALE) Swabia, based in Krumbach

(Swabia) is looking for a Bachelor of Science or Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) (m/f/d) in the fields of landscape management/ landscape development/ environmental planning/ ecology or comparable courses of study at the earliest possible date.



Your tasks

- Development and implementation of measures to activate citizens and municipalities in the planning and creation of structural and landscape elements

- Advising all employees of ALE Schwaben on issues of landscape conservation and environmental compatibility in village renewal, land consolidation and

Integrated rural developments as well as in the implementation of various funding initiatives and participation in the preparation of corresponding projects

- Advice on the preparation, planning, tendering, awarding and implementation of
landscape conservation measures
- Cooperation with authorities, associations and organizations of environmental protection and nature conservation as well as the Central Tasks Division of the Rural Development Administration



Your profile

- Successfully completed bachelor's degree or diploma (FH) in the fields of landscape conservation/landscape development/environmental planning/ecology or comparable courses of study.

- Strong technical knowledge and service orientation

- Good communication skills with different target groups such as farmers, local authorities, official and association nature conservation.

- Ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts.

- Organizational skills and persuasiveness.

- Flexibility, ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility, reliability, independence and initiative.

- Knowledge of working with GIS systems.

- High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure.

- Confident verbal and written communication skills.

- Driving license authorizing the use of a passenger car.

- Relevant professional experience with regard to the hydraulic, technical and vegetation-related implementation of ecological measures in villages and fields is desirable.
